This easy to use program changes the following:

London (0171 & 0181) to a unified code 020

Northern Ireland will have a single code 028

Cardiff will change to 029

Coventry will change to 024

Portmouth and Southampton to change to 023 code

and all mobile and pager numbers.

The 07 prefix will be used exclusively for mobile phones, pagers and personal numbering. These are known as ‘find me anywhere’ numbers. There are already some 07 numbers that have been introduced, such as mobile, pager and personal numbers. Eventually all mobile numbers will begin 077, 078 or 079. Pager numbers will begin 076* and personal numbers will remain as 070.

If you have an existing number for a mobile or pager service that does not begin with 07, the prefix will change.

It should be noted that the Area Code Changer Wizard will NOT work with any version of MS Outlook Express or on any customised forms that have been developed.

The Area Code Changer Wizard WILL only work with MS Outlook 97, MS Outlook 98 and MS Outlook 2000 in the following versions...  Internet Only,   Corporate and Workgroup.
